Dax Rental Finder complaint
We used Dax's Rental Finder Service to try to find a home to rent and had no luck at all with the service. He first signs you up and takes away $199 cash. Then he hands you this really confusing list with all these letters and codes on it. Then he gives you this de-coder paper which as all the meanings of the codes. (Heaven forbid don't lose this paper or else you'll have no idea what his "list" means.) On a side note, when we met with him we left with a creepy feeling because he decided to share a story about some girls getting murdered in some small town in Northern Montana. We both felt it was a really inappropriate thing to discuss with clients you just met.

... Anyways back to the list... It is composed of numerous places which were rented weeks ago. Many of them I saw online or in the local paper. I feel like I could have done all the research online without giving Dax $199. Some of the information on the list is incorrect too. We went to a place that the address was wrong on his list and ended up being 30 minutes late to our showing appointment. When we got there the lady told us 4 other couples had gone to the wrong place as well.

The bottom line is DON'T USE DAX! He does not refund your money. If you need help finding a place to rent go to a property manager. Try Rainbow Property Management, Professional Management, or Realty Executives.

This woman attempted to blackmail me, for lack of a better description and I have her threats on my email.

The list is so totally confusing any reasonably bright third grader can "decipher" it and memorize it in minutes. How hard is this: A=Air conditioning, B=Basement, C=Carpet, D=Drapes, E=Electric Paid, F=Fenced Yard, G=Garage and so on etc...If this person had any difficulty reading this, it's pretty obvious why she couldn't understand the rest of the list either.

When clients (subscribers) are considering moving to an unsafe area, I feel it's my personal & professional obligation to advise them of the possible pitfalls. Most intelligent people don't find fault with this, rather they appreciate my input. And I've been called things before, but I've never been called creepy! I have never in my many years ever copied one single rental listing from the daily newspaper and this is one totally bogus complaint. My take is these people found a rental through some other means (or maybe even thru my service) and just want a Freebie. Or perhaps from the free advertising for the "Property Management Companies" she gave credit to she was encouraged to write this drivel.

For genuine testimonials with real names listed, not anonymous venom like this, go to Daxrentalfinder.com and get the real facts on my service.
